"It takes a village...and YOU!"

You know, the YOLO! Experience for Lexington is an awesome concept for addressing youth violence in the entire city & empowering youth for creative expressions of individuality!  That mean all TATES CREEK, HENRY CLAY, BRYAN STATION, DUNBAR, LAFAYETTE, Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy, and STEAM Academy students will benefit from these two days - especially since it's the weekend before school begins!

“YOLO! Stop the Violence Experience” is our stand against the violence that seems to consume more and more of Lexington, KY’s youth every year!  It’s the plea for YOU, our government, the many great community organizations of Lexington, parents & educators to work closer together – as a unified village - showing youth that ‘You’ve Got Options’.

Former First Lady & Secretary of Defense, Hilary Clinton, sold-in to the African proverb ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ in her 1996 NY Times Best Seller ‘It Takes a Village: And Other Lessons Children Teach Us’.  Like Hilary Clinton, we should buy-in to this idea – and employ it - if we hope to truly change OUR community for ALL OUR CHILDREN!

Please, 'Donate Here!' to the "YOLO! Stop the Violence Experience".

We need a lot of support, because ... "it takes a village."
